A heavenly view
Right by the waterside under the open sky next to the boat landing stage in Männedorf, there’s an idyllic shingled terrace beneath a canopy of wonderful old trees. Here the excellent little Schiffstation restaurant caters for more than 100 guests and offers a magnificent view of the lake. At the end of a hot summer’s day you can relax with a cool drink, savour a freshly made delicacy and enjoy the glorious sunset over Zurich’s “Gold Coast”. You’ll think you’re in paradise!
The finest boat landing stage far and wide can be reached by scheduled passenger boat service as well as by private boat, as there are two boat moorings right in front of the restaurant. There is also a car park. This haven of rest is only a hundred yards from the railway station.
